Adoption Support Initiatives
Knowledge becomes powerful only when it is used. Too often, CSAT products are placed on bookshelves and the guidance they contain is never used. KAP, CSAT’s Knowledge Application Program, assists treatment providers in adopting and implementing the information in CSAT’s published materials.

KAP develops tools that program directors, clinical supervisors, and other staff members can use to actively promote the adoption of new treatment approaches, taking "science" to "service."

Access a wide array of products, including manuals, Treatment Improvement Protocol (TIP) Series, Technical Assistance Publications (TAPs), and periodicals.

Training Curriculums
These training documents help substance abuse treatment supervisors provide inservice training for clinicians and counselors.

KAP's Multi-Language Initiative (MLI) adapts KAP and other Federal Government publications for clients and the general public whose first language is not English.
